Placements

The institute has a record of placing all pass out students till date. This has been a strong feature for bright students to enroll with us. We are working towards improving this aspect and so this briefing to you. The placement of students starts as early as the start of the sixth semester during January and has all the placement done before their final examination during June. However, interview schedule will be given on First-Come-First Serve basis.

GUIDELINES FOR CAMPUS RECRUITMENT

RECRITMENT PROCESS

The recruitment process is designed keeping in mind the interests of both companies and students.The recruitment process followed by the Institute is outlined below:

The Institute invites companies to the campus for placements.

• Companies express their interest in visiting the campus for recruitment.
• The company sends detailed job descriptions and company profile.
• The resumes of the interest candidates are sent to the company, on request.
• The company sends its shortlist to the Institute.

Brief

Any company interested in recruiting out Diploma students would have to provide a brief write up on their profile clearly specifying the scope of operations and annual turnover apart from the total number of employees. Alongside they must also provide their need and technical scope of operations. Terms and Conditions must be provided clearly specifying the Stipend (salary) being offered and the permissible perks.

The institute will provide the Resume of eligible candidates by email. Recruitment procedures can be done in the following methods.

• Campus Interview (most preferred)
• On-Line Tests
• On-Line Video Conferencing
• Telephonic interview (Industry may have to bear the charges)
• Further, any form agreeable to both sides may also be worked out

The students would have been categorised based on their credits earned starting Class X on % basis.

CAT A- above 60% and Above, CAT B- 59-50% and CAT- C Below 50%.

The preference of facing interview will be given on descending order. Further, every company would also be categorised based on Profile and Stipend being offered.

Institute rules

• All companies are expected to give offers immediately after the recruitment process is over.
• Once an offer has been accepted, students are not allowed to appear for other companies visiting campus.

In the previous years placements have been done in companies such as Maruti Udyog, Larsen & Turbro, HCL, Numeric Power Systems, Rajdeep Automation, MRO-Tech, Scientific Instruments etc. Many of our students have excelled and are now working in companies such as NVIDIA, Accenture, HP, IBM and some have become successful entrepreneur. Our students are flexible to work in any kind of environment in any part of India without any difficulty.

Past companies have given us very good feedback that our students have given 100 efficiency at their respective companies. They have been working in the field of servicing and maintananece,sales and marketing, design and development, quality control,R&D,software development, testing and inspection, technical support, team leaders, software testing,networking,Junior engineers, teaching faculty, entrepreneur ,banks etc.
