Profile:

The establishment of the Centre for Computers and Communication Technology (CCCT) is one of     the major initiatives taken by the Government of Sikkim for the development of technical education in the State. This polytechnic is being set up under the World Bank assisted “Third Technician Education Project” of the Government of India.
The State Government envisages  the polytechnic to be model institute  with the latest technology and facilities as “Centers of Excellence”. The establishment of this polytechnic college  is designed to address the need for employable skills to be imbibed among the youth of the State. This will address the major constraint for development in the State as also for seeking potential employment outside the State.
The curriculum offered by this college has been framed by Nettur Technical Training Foundation (NTTF), Bangalore, which is a very well known and highly regarded entity which operates a large number of similar training centers primarily in South India. NTTF Training Centers have been awarded ISO 9001:2000 Quality Systems Certification by Bureau Veritas Quality International (BVQI). The Diplomas and the Post Diplomas issued by NTTF are highly valued by major industries within the country and even abroad. The Diplomas issued by CCCT are jointly certified by the State Board of Technical Education, Sikkim and NTTF.  On completion of their courses, the students are also assisted for getting placement in industries of repute within the country.
The courses offered by this polytechnic have been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
This Institute is equipped with the latest equipment, machineries and computers and supported by a team of qualified and trained faculty. The Institute has a variety of  software and learning resources, computer based tutorials etc. and a very well stocked library with a wide  selection of  books, journals etc.
